Your Brand Style Guide Document will include your approved logo variations (primary logo, secondary logo, and icon/submark), colour palette, mood board, font selection and hierarchy, logo and file usage as well as using your brand in context.

These style guidelines will be super useful to ensure you keep your brand aligned to your new look & feel, as well as being able to pass your brand guidelines on to a future designer, web developer, signage company, or anyone using your brand.

Your branding is never just your logo – it is a variety of things that put together, create your business, including your logo, colour palette, fonts, tone of voice and photography (just to name a few!). 

Think of an alternate logo as a secondary version of your main logo. The alternate logo is usually a different orientation to your main logo, such as either horizontal or centred, depending on what the primary logo is.

A sub-mark is generally a simplified variation of your logo, used in situations when the main logo is not the best fit. For example, it can be an icon that is a reflection of your main logo, but much more simplified and refined.

Before we start the branding project together, I send out a design questionnaire that provides me with lots of information about you and your business. You will need to have a business name, an idea of your target audience and a general idea of styles you like (and don’t like).

If for some reason you are still not happy after two rounds of refinement (which happens very rarely!), we continue the refinement process at my current hourly rate. We go through an in-depth questionnaire and briefing process in the beginning to make sure we are on the same page, so 99.9% of the time 2 refinement rounds are plenty!

Yes, I offer a more simple, logo-only service for those businesses that need to refresh their current logo, or for startups that want to invest in their business in small chunks at a time. Please keep in mind though that a logo is only one small part of the picture. If you’re looking for more of a complete cohesive look for your business, the logo will need the support of other elements, such as a font system, colours, and more. I encourage all my clients to think big and to consider investing in a complete brand identity to further enhance and confidently show off your brand.

I usually book about 2-3 weeks in advance, so I  recommend getting in touch with me well before your deadline so I can meet your needs.

Yes! I understand that these services can be a large investment for small businesses, so I want to make it easier and more accessible for all.

Payments are broken into two parts. Every project requires a 50% non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance will be split up into payments depending on the length of your project. I do require that the investment is paid in full before completion and handing off your deliverables. A payment plan will be outlined in your proposal.
